Features
“EdoTabiNikki” is a step tracker app that collects ukiyoe pictures depicting scenes from various regions of Japan.
You can get Ukiyo-e prints by steps.
Ukiyo-e
The app contains two Ukiyo-e series, "The 53 stations on the Tokaido (Hoeido)" and "The 69 Stations of the Kisokaido".
"The 53 stations on the Tokaido (Hoeido)" is by UTAGAWA Hiroshige and has 55 prints.
It depicts a post town on the 'Tokai-do(Tokai-highway)'.
"The 69 Stations of the Kisokaido" is by KEISAI Eisen, UTAGAWA Hiroshige and has 70 prints.
It depicts a post town on the 'Nakasen-do(Nakasen-highway)'.
UTAGAWA Hiroshige(1797-1858) was a famous painter who influenced artists such as Van Gogh and Monet.
KEISAI Eisen(1791-1848) was famous for his Bijinga(picture of beautiful woman) and was also highly regarded for his landscape paintings.
Measurement methods
You can select the measurement method “Device Sensor” or “Sync Google Fit” on Android,
On iOS, you can only measure using “Device Sensor”.
“Device Sensor”
The app count your number of steps in real time using the device's acceleration sensor.
Steps are counted only while the app is running,
and measurement continues even when the app is running in the background.
On Android, If the measurement is not stable,
please set battery usage to unrestricted in the settings.

“Sync Google Fit”(Android Only)
The app get your number of steps from Health Connect provided by Google.
Steps are counted even if the app is not running.
Advance preparation is required.
